The Yerington AI Governance Initiative is a community-based effort, and not a government agency. It was created to help Mason Valley thoughtfully navigate emerging technologies. We bring together residents, educators, businesses, public servants, and industry partners to talk openly, learn together, and collaborate around artificial intelligence, automation, robotics, and related technologies, and we do it without hype, fear, or shortcuts. Our work is grounded in local context, accountability, and long-term public trust, and supporting innovation while respecting the culture, values, and resilience that define our community.
